Alcohol Awareness Card of Las Vegas has been serving the Las Vegas community since 2007. In 1982, Las Vegas married couple Jack and Ann Doyle used their political connections to have a Clark County ordinance enacted that required alcohol awareness training be completed by all alcohol serving employees. The Las Vegas Metro Police oversaw enforcement of alcohol cards. Their company, TAM of Nevada, enjoyed a monopoly until 2006, when the Nevada state government took over alcohol awareness training and enforcement. State officials asked a local bartending school if they would provide testing for alcohol awareness cards, to which the school obliged and received a license. In 2015 we were spun off as an independent company. We now operate 5 testing offices in Clark County.
